failing

February 24, 2006

I realized today why I’ve not been on site very much…

remember when I had the audio enhanced on the crime scene video? The person I took it to was able to clean up part of it. Unfortunately, enhancement of the time frame containing the conversation I want will require far more advanced technology. The audio specialists who do such work start at around $275/hour. I can’t afford that right now. And I feel guilty for being at a standstill, like I’m letting Rick down. I guess 2withspirit has become sort of an extension of Rick to me- hard for me to face him knowing I’m idling on the pursuit stuff.

I’m more certain than ever there’s a huge hole in the PD’s story. I never went into detail about what finding Patrick’s voice on the dash video means in relation to the big picture. That’s what the rest of this entry will be about.

Patrick was Rick’s passenger. Police removed him from the Tracker during the traffic stop. Patrick is listed on only one report. I’ve always thought it strange he never came up in any of the news reports. Would think at least one reporter would have wanted to talk to a witness/involved person.
The bad news is Rick couldn’t have hand picked a worse witness. If sound is coming out of Patrick’s mouth, it’s a lie. Patrick told me police left him standing in the parking lot when Rick drove away/fled the traffic stop.

The dash cam video from Rutledge’s car has Patrick saying “Fuck!”

just after Rutledge tells another officer that Rick’s dead. Rutledge and the other officer are standing in front of the patrol car.

Herein lies the problem.
The original traffic stop was at 10th and Baylor (top right corner of map).
Rutledge’s report states that he and Bukowski were at Kemp and Kell East (bottom left of the map) when the pursuit started.
Neither Rutledge or Bukowski state they were at the original stop.

Here’s the riddle of the day- how did Patrick get in Rutledge’s car if Rutledge was at Kemp and Kell?

on a sidenote- the WFPD pursuit policy strictly prohibits participation in a pursuit with a passenger inside a patrol car.

This whole thing just gets more and more twisted. I understand why you pursue this. I hope you get the answers you need and get the justice you deserve.

#$%@! computer

February 20, 2006

If anyone has any idea why my computer suddenly won’t stream media or how to fix it, I’ll owe ya one in a BIG way. I’m on a broadband connection – all of a sudden I’m getting “no connection” errors when I try to open AOL radio.

Cat,
I do not know why this would happen maybe AOLs having issues. Can you stream any other media? If you have winamp does its radio work? You know my work background and I will try and help off list if you want so as not to clutter this place a bunch of tech posts.

Disrespectful

February 14, 2006

First- I hate talking on the phone.

I don’t have a landline in my house because I rarely even use my cell phone. Sometimes -if I need to make a phone call during the day, I will use my grandparents landline. 1 – because it has free long distance. 2 – it won’t deduct from my cell phone minutes.
I almost always remember to block the landline number when I make a call because I don’t want anyone to call me on that line. When I forget to block it- I tell whoever I’m talking to in no uncertain terms – DO NOT EVER – UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES – CALL ME AT THIS NUMBER. It isn’t my line. PERIOD.

Is there anything in that which could be misinterpreted as – ‘ok well if you can’t reach me on my cell, feel free to call me on this number’ ? No, I didn’t think so. Therefore when I do return your call, after you’ve taken the liberty of using a number I specifically told you not to – and I rip you to shreds – don’t be surpised or offended, k?

frustration and the 5th

re: the rant at the bottom of this page about the visitor from the City of Wichita Falls.
I sincerely apologize for not being more clear about this and hope I haven’t run anyone off. The IP returns to “The City of Wichita Falls” not just Wichita Falls, TX. This visitor is on a computer owned by the City. In the past it’s returned both to the police dept and the auditorium.

The last few days have seen pursuit after pursuit on news reports. Isn’t that more pursuits are happening as much as an increase in awareness and calls for accountability. I’m glad for it, for the lives that won’t be cut short.

Frustrating too. I want it yesterday – I want it when it would have mattered for Rick, and me, and Hannah. (

***note to whoever comes here from the City of Wichita Falls. If you’re here because you’re personally interested, please ignore what I’m about to say.

If you’re here because you are keeping tabs for the PD or City Attorney – FUCKING FUCK OFF!!! You’re unwelcome uninvited disrespectful snakes! come here to gloat?

I’ll make a promise to ya – if anything earth shattering surfaces regarding the pursuit – I promise – PROMISE – you will be the FIRST to know. Gotta wonder just how sharp you really are – you’re slithering around here for information YOU already know.

now go crawl back under your rock and leave me alone. You managed to accomplish the second part of this request, wtf is so difficult about the first part?
